Activity Log
Available to Strise staff today. Team managers get access as part of the roles and permissions rollout.
The Activity page under Settings is a log of who changed access on your team, and when. Every role assignment, role removal, invitation, and member removal is recorded there.
Use it to answer questions like "who made this person a manager?", "when did this user get access?", or "who removed the member that used to own these reviews?".
Where to find it
Settings → Activity. The tab is only shown to users who have the View activity log permission.
What a row tells you
| Column | Contents |
|---|---|
| Actor | The user who performed the change. |
| Action | What they did, and to whom. |
| Change | The roles involved — the removed role struck through in red, the new role in green. |
| Timestamp | When it happened, in your local time. |
Entries are listed newest first. The page shows the 50 most recent changes.
Actions that are recorded
| Action | When it appears |
|---|---|
| Invited user | Someone was invited to the team and joined it. |
| Removed user | Someone was removed from the team. |
| Changed role for user | An existing member's role was replaced by a different one. |
| Granted a role to user | A role was added to a member who previously had none. |
| Revoked a role from user | A role was taken away without a replacement. |
One action by one person produces one row, even when it changes several things at once. An invitation both creates the membership and grants the invitee their first role; the log shows a single Invited row with that role in the Change column, rather than two separate entries.
Scope
The log shows changes on the team you currently have selected. Switch teams to see another team's activity — a change made on one team never appears in another team's log.
Changes to the roles themselves — creating a role, or editing which permissions it carries — are not team-level events and do not appear here.
Timestamps
Recent entries are shown relative to now: Today at 09:14, Yesterday at 15:32, or Last Friday at 11:05. Anything older than about a week is shown as a plain date. Times follow your own timezone and display language.
Retention
The activity log is append-only — entries cannot be edited or deleted from the application. Removing a member adds a row rather than erasing that member's history, so their earlier entries stay readable afterwards.
