How to Change Your Email Address

Your email address is both your login identity and the address Strise sends reviews, documents, and notifications to. Whether you can change it yourself depends on how your account signs in.

Standard accounts

If you sign in with an email address and password:

  1. Go to Settings > Account.
  2. In the Personal info section, edit the Email field.
  3. Save.

The same section holds your display Name, and the Password section below it sends you a password reset email — see How to Reset Your Password.

Single Sign-On accounts

If your organization uses Single Sign-On, your name and email address are owned by your identity provider, not by Strise. Both fields are shown but greyed out, with the explanation:

This field is managed by your organization's SSO provider and cannot be edited here.

To change your address, ask your IT department to change it in the identity provider. Strise supports SSO through Google, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, and generic OIDC providers.

If you are unsure which kind of account you have, open Settings > Account and look at the Email field: if it is editable, you have a standard account; if it is greyed out, you are on SSO.

For how SSO is set up in the first place, see Single Sign-On.
