Credit Data

Credit Data pulls creditworthiness signals for companies in your portfolio from Creditsafe, and surfaces them next to your other KYB signals. For teams that run credit assessment as part of onboarding or monitoring, this removes the need to switch tools.

Credit Data is an optional module. Ask your CSM to enable it for your team.

What Data Is Available

SignalDescription
Credit scoreCreditsafe’s numeric credit score for the company
Credit limitSuggested credit limit
Credit ratingLetter or categorical rating
Payment behaviourHistorical payment performance indicators
County Court Judgments (CCJs)UK-specific public judgments against the company

Fields vary by jurisdiction — Creditsafe’s UK data set is the richest; Nordic data is more limited.

Where It Appears

  • Entity pages — A Credit card is added to the company entity page showing the current credit data.
  • Review — The review flow has a “Credit Score” section that can be enabled in your review settings. In UK jurisdictions, a “CCJs” section is also available.
  • Review PDF — Credit data can be included in the generated PDF.
  • Review Triggers — A Credit Change event trigger can open a review whenever a company’s credit data changes materially.

Credit Monitoring

Credit data can be monitored over time. When enabled, Strise polls Creditsafe on the same daily schedule as PEP and sanctions screening, detects changes, and fires the Credit Change event. Combine this with a review trigger to open a review automatically when a customer’s credit deteriorates.

Norwegian Sole Proprietorships (ENKs)

Norwegian sole proprietorships (enkeltpersonforetak) are handled through a separate data pipeline from Creditsafe. The feature needs to be explicitly enabled per team since ENK data has different commercial terms than corporate entities.

Setup

  1. Talk to your CSM to unlock Credit Data for your team.
  2. Provide Creditsafe credentials if your commercial agreement requires you to use your own Creditsafe contract. Otherwise Strise routes requests through its own Creditsafe partner agreement.
  3. Enable the relevant review settings (Credit Score, CCJs) for the jurisdictions you operate in.
  4. Optionally: enable Credit Change as a review trigger if you want credit deterioration to open reviews automatically.
