The Monitoring Migration (2026)

This migration is complete. All teams were moved to the new monitoring system by July 2026. This page remains as a reference for what happened and where to adjust your settings.

What happened

During the first half of 2026, all Strise teams were migrated from the old monitoring system to the rebuilt one — see The Monitoring System for what the new system does.

Most teams migrated themselves through the Monitoring Migration Wizard, which guided an admin through the screening, PEP, Sanctions, and alert settings powering the new system, then surfaced every real difference between old and new as reviewable alerts. Teams that hadn’t completed the wizard by the migration deadline (June 19, 2026) were migrated onto default settings in early July 2026.

If your team was migrated on defaults

Nothing about your portfolio was lost — but your alert configuration is the standard starting point rather than choices you made. The defaults are:

  • PEP and Sanctions alerts enabled, at hit level (added / changed / removed)
  • Relation alerts enabled — roles (no exclusions), owners, ownership and beneficial owners at a 5% threshold
  • Company Information alerts disabled
  • Email notifications disabled

The full table, and every knob to change it, lives in Monitoring Alerts Settings. Screening behaviour itself is configured in PEP Settings and Sanctions Settings.

Seeing more alerts than before?

The new system screens with the v3 matching algorithm and compares against your configured settings — the first runs after migration alert on every difference from the old system’s view of your portfolio. That’s by design: no change is hidden during a move. Review the wave once, then use Resolve all (with filters) to clear what you’ve consciously accepted — see Working with Monitoring Alerts.

Questions?

If your team’s alert volumes or settings don’t look right after the migration, contact your customer success manager or support — we can show exactly which settings your team was migrated with.
